The Cloud Developer will join a strong group of technologists to help evolve and expand the Cloud environment. Essential Responsibilities:
Cloud computing is a rapidly changing landscape that requires team members to be open to change, use leading edge technologies and practices, as well as utilities their own creative invention.
• Evolving service offerings in the IaaS automation space and PaaS configuration,
• Expanding Cloud service offerings,
• Implement automation strategy and design through coding and scripting (JavaScript, Java),
• Implement PaaS configurations using Chef (Ruby, PowerShell, Bash),
• Maintaining existing automation and templating codebase,
• Providing technical documentation, such as guides, standards, and process flows.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent,
• Three years IT experience,
• Experience with Operating System scripting (includes but not limited to VB Script, PowerShell, Bash),
• Experience with Client/Server Application Development (preferred languages include but are not limited to: Java, Ruby, C#, C++, Perl, python),
• Experience with any J2EE Application Servers (includes but not limited to WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Glassfish, WebSphere) or Microsoft IIS,
• Experience with any HTTP Web Server technologies (includes but not limited to Apache, Sun Web Server, Iplanet, HTTPD) or Microsoft IIS,
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously,
• Drive to learn new technology and build in-depth expertise,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Excellent interpersonal/teamwork and leadership skills,
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality delivery.
