Join a team of SAP Application specialists partnering with the GEHC Life Science business, a world leader in Diagnostic and Predictive Imaging. Identify, develop and implement SAP solutions to enable growth and compliance within a GXP validated environment.

[b] Essential Responsibilities:[/b]

• Work on ABAP development for projects and internal releases following the release and change management cycle and process,
• Ensure that code/SAP objects are designed and developed to the highest quality standards while adhering to GEHC standards and regulatory requirements,
• Develop and maintain high quality, supporting documentation in line with GEHC standards and regulatory requirements,
• Ensure that ABAP team members are trained in all the tools and standards used in connection with programming in SAP and that training records are kept updated in line with GxP requirements,
• Work with the SAP Validation Manager to ensure that Standard Operation Procedures covering all software development activities are in place and maintained, and that these procedures are understood and followed by all ABAP team members,
• Ensure that all ABAP development work complies with SAP Global system validation requirements,
• Look for opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity of SAP programming that can be implemented by the SAP CoE leadership team.

[b]Qualifications/Requirements:[/b]

Specific ABAP development skills:
• Custom reports (list and ALV) and Module pools for SD, PP-PI, FI, CO, MM, WM and QM modules on SAP ERP 6.0.
• Knowledge of ABAP Object oriented Coding,
• Forms: SAPscript, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms,
• Enhancements: User exits, BADI’s, Enhancement spots,
• Interfaces: ALE/Idoc - familiar with the concept of middleware,
• Data migration: LSMW (including: batch input, direct input, Idocs and BAPIs),
• Data dictionary objects: fields, tables, check tables, search help use of SAP standard function modules.
- Able to work closely with Application Specialists / Solution Architects and others within IT to understand business and technical SAP requirements and to collaborate with developers and architects to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
- Able to do technical design, coding and testing of complex software and system solutions, interfaces, and related technical configuration. Includes ability to conduct design reviews of technical design documentation.
- Experienced in conducting detailed software code reviews and providing feedback on code improvements.
- Experienced in working in a regulated system development environment.
- Can research OSS and apply notes using note assistant application.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
