Validation Manager actively manages the validation activities for projects involving GxP critical computer systems. Works closely with the project team members and the Quality Assurance function to ensure that the appropriate elements of quality and compliance are built into the system.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Manages computer system validation work, assuring the thoroughness of validation planning and making appropriate progress towards completion of validation work,
• Write technically sound computer system validation protocols while adhering to company standards and regulatory expectations,
• Acts as liaison between Quality Assurance and the project team to assure that GxP software is implemented in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines,
• Provides tactical direction and guidance for project teams implementing Computer Systems for new or existing GxP systems including the development and analysis of system requirements,
• Administers and directs the activities of internal and external validation resources, and project team members in computer system validation work,
• Manages all validation aspects of several projects simultaneously.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent,
• Three (3) or more years of experience in:
• Creating complete and testable business requirements into a systems requirement document
• Testing principles, processes and procedures
• Creating test cases and test plans
• Using all phases of a Software Development Life Cycle
• Leading projects. Demonstrated ability in Project Management techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills at the functional, technical, and executive level,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio).
